Football

The first ever football match of Prep School was played in 1938 against Winchester House of S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia. In 1939, we were able to become victorious against the same opponent. In 1942, a match was played against S. Thomas’ College, Guruthalawa, where our team was able to bring glory to our school. Likewise, Football has been one of the leading sports in S. Thomas’ Preparatory School since its inception and the players have and continue to participate in numerous tournaments throughout the year.
